My name is Irene Wamutitu. I am the resident counselor at Action For Children In Conflict. I am currently stationed at the Temporary Rescue Center at Karibaribi. My job is to provide counselling and other psychosocial support to children. I have over one year experience in child and adolescent counselling. My work has exposed me to the world of humanitarian aid and I am proud to be part of an organization that works towards transforming the lives of children affected by extreme poverty, hunger, illness, persecution, abuse, and neglect. I enjoy working with children as it helps bring out my inner child. I have learnt alot and I look forward to continue the work of impacting the lives of children and ensure that their mental health is in check.
