Irene is a resident couselor who works to support street-connected children who are rescued and placed at our Temporary Rescue Center. Her expertise lies in Child Safeguarding & Protection, Psychosocial Support & Counseling, Social Work & Community Engagement and Teaching & Capacity Building. She is committed to ensuring the safety and protection of children from all forms of abuse and exploitation. Irene is also passionate about advocating for children's mental well-being, creating safe spaces where they feel supported, valued, and psychologically cared for.
