Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up to date accounting files and records;
- Assist in reconciling the bank reconciliation accounts;
- Assist in preparing cash flow projection statements on a monthly basis;
- Assist in providing a monthly financial report to the donors
- Assist in reconciling all bank accounts on a fortnightly basis.
- Ensure completeness of supporting documentation;
- Correctly code and input transactions into QuickBooks;
The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:-
- Degree in Business / CPA finalist / ACCA
- Experience using QuickBooks accounting software
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) along with regulatory compliance;
- Knowledge of accounting techniques and procedures;
- Self-directed, highly motivated, reliable;
- Excellent computer skills especially Excel and producing spreadsheets;
- Proficient in report writing
